Which tactics and strategies have you found most beneficial?

Bringing changes and new opportunities to me as they find out about them, and as a Google Partner, they find out about them early in the process. Then keeping me on task to make adjustments in my website, PPC or remarketing plan to stay ahead of the curve. BigHouse constantly monitors the industry and is not afraid to tweak a promotion if the results are not as expected. They are also very responsive and can quickly help with new web pages, new creative or adjustments to the marketing plan due to weather or other outside influences.

I had known Dana for quite some time and then we reconnected when BigHouse had a presence at a statewide tourism conference.

Digital Marketing and Internet Marketing are very complicated and I needed someone who understood it. In making the decision to work with BigHouse, I felt like they had the expertise needed. I was excited to know that BigHouse is Google certified and has access to Google and their resources. In terms of staying with BigHouse, the results have been very positive and I’ve been appreciative of the fact BigHouse provides regular reporting so we’re not guessing if what we’re doing is working. How and when did you first hear of BigHouse Marketing?

We heard of BigHouse Marketing through SPARK. We were looking for a digital agency when we were beginning work on the Body Worlds exhibit and they brought BigHouse in to meet us.

Why did you choose to work with BigHouse Marketing? Why have you chosen to stay with BigHouse Marketing?

After interviewing several other agencies, both local and national, we chose BigHouse for a couple of reasons. One, we were really looking for a partner with experience and expertise that could give us weekly, in-depth reporting to understand how the campaign was being built out and adjusted instead of just hoping that certain things were taking place. Also, being a non-profit in Charlotte, we really wanted to support a local business.

How has BigHouse Marketing helped Discovery Place grow? How was BigHouse affected your bottom line?

BigHouse has helped us to get in a place where we can now track our conversions not just by page views and specific actions taken on our site, but we can now track exact revenue generating actions. We saw a large increase in traffic on the Body Worlds microsite in large part due to digital data, in addition to other media mix.

Could you have grown as much without the tactics and strategies from BigHouse Marketing?

The expertise and insights helped us to be much more efficient with our campaigns. Before, we were seeing a lot of spam traffic, however, with BigHouse, we have been able to optimize our campaigns and get quality traffic.

Which tactics and strategies did you find most beneficial?

We really appreciated the expertise of BigHouse with the changes that Google often makes on how AdWords is set-up and campaigns are implemented. For example, when Google did away with the right-hand rail ads, because of BigHouse we knew that we needed to increase our bid amounts. We’ve also benefited from their mobile ad experience.

Would you recommend BigHouse Marketing?

Yes. They’ve allowed us to spend more time creating new content for our website knowing that campaigns are being optimized on a regular basis. There’s a level of trust that they’ve earned that is very important in the digital advertising age. When we ask for their opinion on spend for a campaign, we know that they’ll give us a number that is effective, yet within our budget. It’s also nice to have an expert in Google AdWords so that we don’t have to invest so much of our time in keeping up with the many changes.

How and when did you first hear of BigHouse Marketing? 

I’ve known Dana for a while.  I contacted her with some concerns I had about a company I had talked to here in Columbia.  Turned out what BigHouse does is exactly what we needed.

Why did you choose to work with BigHouse Marketing? Why have you chosen to stay with BigHouse Marketing? 

We knew we were missing a big chunk of the market by not having a well-managed online presence.  We had been looking for a local company to manage our online advertising for quite a while.  I had a phone meeting with BigHouse.  They were very knowledgeable (but talked in terms I could completely understand) and, before the call was over, we had a game plan.  We continue to work with them because we have seen such a big improvement in our call volume since our campaigns went live.  They stay on top of things and do a great job making any necessary adjustments to our campaigns to ensure that we are getting the most bang for our buck.  And as icing on the cake, they’re just wonderful people to work with.

How has BigHouse Marketing helped Capital City Plumbing grow? How has BigHouse affected your bottom line?

Our call volume has increased since we began working with BigHouse.  We’ve also found that the quality of the calls we get from our pay-per-click and display campaigns is better since we made the switch.  More quality calls mean increased revenue.  The return on investment we’re seeing has been great, much better than what we’ve seen from other companies and marketing methods.

Could you have grown as much without the tactics and strategies from BigHouse Marketing?

The tactics and strategies that BigHouse has used for us have been incredibly beneficial and have aided in our growth over the last year.  We’ve seen such a big change in both the quantity and quality of calls we’re getting from our online advertising.  It’s been the best advertising investment we could have made.

Which tactics and strategies did you find most beneficial? 

The most beneficial has been our pay-per-click campaigns.  Because we track the calls, we know exactly how much of a return we’re getting on that investment.  BigHouse has done a great job with monitoring our campaigns and making the changes necessary to keep our ads competitive in our market, which leads to more calls and clicks.

Would you recommend BigHouse Marketing to others? 

Without a doubt.  They’ve been a huge part of the growth we’ve seen over the last year.

How and when did you first hear of BigHouse Marketing?

Blumenthal Performing Arts: We first met with Dana from BigHouse Marketing in 2013 when we were interviewing digital marketing companies to help us get more out of our campaigns.  Dana immediately impressed us not just with her knowledge of the industry, but also with her willingness to work with us on an agreement that would make sense for what we needed.  We felt like we were entering a partnership, she made us feel comfortable and assured that we’d be well taken care of.

Blumenthal Performing Arts:  In our initial meeting, BigHouse Marketing brought a lot of unique ideas and strategies to our attention that we hadn’t thought of before.  We were excited by the possibilities that hiring BigHouse would open up for us.  We’ve stayed with them because you cannot beat the customer service we receive with BigHouse.  We have a lot of campaigns running at the same time – and adjustments that need to me made sometimes with very little notice.  We never feel like we’re being ignored, and always feel like they are quick to answer questions and handle our needs.  They also have given us proven results – we can see at the end of each campaign what our return on investment is.

How has BigHouse Marketing helped Blumenthal grow? How has BigHouse affected your bottom line? 

Blumenthal Performing Arts: Since we brought BigHouse on board the media landscape has changed so much in general.  Instead of allocating a small amount of budget dollars to digital – we are now spending as much as 25% of our total budgets on online.  With so much of the budget going to digital, it’s more important to us than ever that those campaigns are handled wisely and we’re getting the biggest bang for our buck.  Around 23% of our total sales happen online – and a good percentage of those sales are coming from our digital media buys.

Could you have grown as much without the tactics and strategies from BigHouse Marketing?

Blumenthal Performing Arts: There is no way we would have been able to allocate the amount of man hours needed to do what BigHouse does for us.  They’ve expanded our possibilities by not only allowing us to stay on top of the most recent trends and best practices, but also by giving us the extra time we need to try new strategies and test campaigns.

Which tactics and strategies did you find most beneficial?

Blumenthal Performing Arts: We really appreciate that they monitor our spends so closely, so if one digital channel is out-performing another those budget dollars are moved around to where they are the most beneficial.  That kind of daily monitoring is something that we just haven’t had the resources to manage on our own.  It’s so reassuring to know that someone is watching and has our best interest in mind.

Client:  I doubt it. Interestingly, over the last 7 years of working with BigHouse, we have been approached and met with many other Internet marketing companies interested in getting our business. We have not heard a single, new, worthwhile suggestion from these other Internet marketing companies that we weren’t already doing because of BigHouse.

Which tactics and strategies did you find most beneficial?

Client:  The keywords and sites BigHouse chooses for us are exceptional. As the market changed over the years, we were advised to upgrade our website to take advantage of the exploding use of mobile devises to search the Internet. In addition, we were urged to increase our spend on social media. BigHouse has a terrific social media department. I used to call social media “social disease.” Finally BigHouse convinced me to market on Facebook, Instagram, etc. Clicks to our website from social media platforms now represent almost 50% of our traffic.

Would you recommend BigHouse Marketing to others?

Client:  I absolutely would and have on many occasions.
